Europe, Our Common Home

Today we celebrate two anniversaries that are deeply connected.
The first is Europe Day, which commemorates the Schuman Declaration, the moment when European nations chose cooperation over conflict and began building what would become the European Union.
The second is the first anniversary of Eurocrazy.
At first glance, these two milestones may seem very different. One belongs to the history of Europe. The other is a small civic project created by ordinary citizens.
But they are rooted in the same conviction.
Democracy is worth defending.
The European Union is one of the greatest political achievements in modern history. It transformed a continent once defined by war into a community built on peace, freedom, the rule of law and shared prosperity.
It is imperfect, like every human creation.
But it remains the strongest example of how democratic nations can work together without giving up their identity.
Eurocrazy was born one year ago inspired by that same idea.
We believe that democracy is not only defended in parliaments or elections. It is also defended through the decisions we make in our daily lives.
What we support matters. What we buy matters.
What values we choose to strengthen matters.
That is why we work exclusively with products made in full democracies under our Made in Democracy® philosophy, and donate 5% of our profits to organizations that defend human rights and freedom.
Europe is more than a market. It is our common home. And democracy is more than a political system. It is a way of living with dignity, responsibility and hope.
Today, on Europe Day, we want to thank everyone who has joined us during this first year.
This is only the beginning. Happy Europe Day. And thank you for helping prove that democracy can also be defended, one choice at a time.
